FES Conference 2008 Information

Mark your calendars to attend the 2008 FES Conference in St. Louis, MO on May 30-June 2, 2008. Return your registration materials ASAP to secure a spot!

The 2008 conference will be held from 4 pm on Friday, May 30 through noon on Monday, June 2, which is the weekend after Memorial Day. Accommodations will be provided at the University of Missouri - St. Louis’s Oak Hall, which is easily accessible by Metro-Link light rail from the airport, downtown, and the Ethical Society of St. Louis.

The conference will include:

  • A visit to the Ethical Society of St. Louis—the largest Ethical Culture Society in the United States!

  • A half-day service project with Beyond Housing, an organization devoted to strengthening neighborhoods through affordable housing, homeownership, and community development

  • A FES-led Sunday platform at the Ethical Society of St. Louis followed by a luncheon with the Society and a discussion among FES members

  • New accommodations with a pool and volleyball court right outside our residence hall

  • Time out on the town to places such as the Arch and the University City Loop.

The 2008 Conference Fee is $155, which covers: accommodation, all meals except one dinner, transportation during the conference, FES membership dues, and all conference materials.
